Q: What makes QuickSwipe so fast?
A: A traditional credit card machine has to dial out every time a transaction is made, then transmit the data over a conventional phone line. This usually takes 10-30 seconds. Your QuickSwipe system, however, uses an always-on broadband Internet connection, and transmits the data over your DSL, Cable, or T1 line. This only takes 2-4 seconds!

Q: How does QuickSwipe work compared to a credit card 'box'?

A: QuickSwipe works as a replacement to your standard stand-a-lone credit card terminal. It can be used on existing computers using your mouse and a keyboard, so the purchase of a separate machine is not necessary. Many merchant use QuickSwipe with a touchscreen by using the Keyboard Mode accessible from the login screen.

Q: Is QuickSwipe secure?
A: Yes. QuickSwipe utilizes 128 bit SSL Encryption, the industry standard for secure transactions. In addition, Address Verification (AVS) and Card Verification (CVV2) come standard on every account. Completing QuickSwipe’s fraud barriers is FraudFirewallTM, a proprietary suite of security controls unmatched in the industry.

Q: What types of payments can I accept with QuickSwipe?
A: With QuickSwipe, you have the option of accepting all major credit and check cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, American Express, and JCB. You may also accept electronic checks and set up automatic bank drafts.

Q: People always say to be careful sending private information and credit card numbers online, how do I know that Quickswipe is safe?
A: There a few things to look for in determining the security of an online web page. First look at the website name in the address bar near the top of the screen. This name should be proceeded by 'https://' instead of the normal 'http://'. The 's' stands for secure or SSL (which stands for Secure Sockets Layer).

Q: How much training is required?

A: QuickSwipe is so simple to use that within minutes of logging on for the very first time, people with absolutely no experience can be processing credit card transactions, running authorizations, issuing refunds, and even setting up recurring billing schedules. QuickSwipe is that easy.

Q: Do I need a merchant account?

A: Yes. Your QuickSwipe Account Representative will consult with you to make sure you have the merchant account solution that works best for your business.

Q: What confirmation do I have that the transaction went through?
A: You will receive a confirmation number and receipt. Also, look for the green check mark next to the words 'Transaction Approved.' If you see a red stopsign or the words, 'Transaction Declined' there is something wrong with the card details: either card number, expiration, address, zip code, is wrong, or the cardholder has a hold on their account due to insufficient funds or other personal account issues.

Q: I am using QuickSwipe on a WiFi (802.11a/b/g) connection, is this safe?
A: QuickSwipe uses 128 bit SSL encryption, so any data transmitted is encrypted. This doesn't mean that you should use an un-secured access point however. It is recommended to use WPA/WPA2 (with strong AES encryption), MAC-Filtering, non-broadcasted SSID's, and also to limit the number of DHCP connections to the minimum required if you are going to use a local WiFi network.

Q: Can I use QuickSwipeKeyed from any computer?
A: Yes you can. Just log-in to QuickSwipe and enter your account name, username, and password. QuickSwipe requires the following at a minimum:
     1) Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 5
